The devil is For Losers

I get so many people writing my space boasting about how great the devil is and how he is greater than God. Most of them contain really foul language and are not suitable for this space and so I have to delete them.

These people, mostly teens, have been fooled into believing that he is their champion and yet he is leading them directly to hell. He is called the god of this age. 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 says;

But even if our Gospel (the glad tidings) also be hidden (obscured and covered up with a veil that hinders the knowledge of God), it is hidden [only] to those who are perishing and obscured [only] to those who are spiritually dying and veiled [only] to those who are lost. For the god of this world has blinded the unbelievers’ minds [that they should not discern the truth], preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ (the Messiah), Who is the Image and Likeness of God. (AMP)

2 Corinthians 11:14 calls him an angel of light.

These people have been drawn in by his lies in various ways. They lust for power and they think satan gives them that. Yes he will give them power and once he has them in his grasp, he will snuff out their lives. Many of them are lonely and come from broken homes or homes where the parents are too busy for their children. They have been introduced by friends or through music and other means that glorify the devil.

When I was about 13, I bought a Ouija board. It was in the toy store and it looked interesting. I had never heard about what it was or what it could do. An Ouija board is an open door through which satan can enter into your life. It was featured prominently in the movie the Exorcist as a means to demonic possession. I was fascinated by the way it would move around the board and would answer questions that nobody could have known. Fortunately about a week after, my mom made me get rid of it. If I had continued using it there is no telling what doors I would have opened. Other open doors to the devil and giving him power over you are things such as tarot cards, reading tea leaves, any kind of fortune telling, horoscopes, seances, music and much more.

Jesus said in John 8:44b concerning the devil; He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a falsehood, he speaks what is natural to him, for he is a liar [himself] and the father of lies and of all that is false. (AMP)

He is good at deceiving people by giving them just a little bit of the truth mixed with a whole lot of deception. He used it in deceiving Eve in the garden (Genesis 3) and tried to use it with Jesus in the temptation in the wilderness. (Matthew 4)

1Peter 5:8 tells us to Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour. Many believers fall into the trap of thinking it’s ok to fool around with horoscopes and fortune telling. I have a family member who claims to be a believer and yet bases all her interaction with others on what sign they are and when they were born. You say it’s just innocent fun and yet the bible calls it an abomination to God. The Scriptures make it clear that any type of astrological practice is severely condemned by God, for it attempts to understand the future through occult means rather than through God’s divinely inspired Word. The fatalistic approach of astrology, which says our lives are determined by the stars, is contradicted by Scripture, which holds us responsible for our destiny. Astrology and Christianity are simply incompatible. Don’t be fooled. Whenever somebody asks what my sign is, I tell them it is the sign of the cross.

We as believers need to take a stand against the enemies plans. Pray for your children everyday before they go out into the world. I read a book called the Beautiful Side of Evil by Joanna Michelson. She used to be a high level devil worshipper who taught in school and would try and recruit children into satan worship. She said the children they could not touch were always the ones who came from Christian homes where the parents took time to pray with them in the morning and plead the blood of Jesus over.

Paul says in Ephesians 6:10-18;

10In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].

11Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil.

12For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.

13Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].

14Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God,

15And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace.

16Lift up over all the [covering] shield of saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one].

17And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God.

18Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people). (AMP)

Finally remember what the devil’s end is and remind him of it when he attacks. Revelation 20:10; Then the devil who had led them astray [deceiving and seducing them] was hurled into the fiery lake of burning brimstone, where the beast and false prophet were; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever (through the ages of the ages). (AMP)

Keep on standing for Jesus no matter what the cost.

Why Worship?

Often I here atheists saying; "If you God is so powerful and self-sufficient, why does He need our worship? Is He insecure?" The answer is that God doesn’t need our worship at all. It is us that need it. God is self-sufficient, but He is a being that loves to create. Because He is lonely? Not at all. He needs nothing and no one. In Psalm 50:10-12 He says;

10 For every beast of the forest is Mine,
And the cattle on a thousand hills.
11 I know all the birds of the mountains,
And the wild beasts of the field are Mine.
12 “If I were hungry, I would not tell you;
For the world is Mine, and all its fullness. (NKJV)

And in Acts 17:24-25 we read in the Amplified;

24The God Who produced and formed the world and all things in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in handmade shrines. 25Neither is He served by human hands, as though He lacked anything, for it is He Himself Who gives life and breath and all things to all [people].

There is no one like our God and Creator and never will be. You could never compare Him to a flawed human being.

6For who in the heavens can be compared to the Lord? Who among the mighty [heavenly beings] can be likened to the Lord,

7A God greatly feared and revered in the council of the holy (angelic) ones, and to be feared and worshipfully revered above all those who are round about Him?

😯 Lord God of hosts, who is a mighty one like unto You, O Lord? And Your faithfulness is round about You [an essential part of You at all times]. Psalm 89:6-8 (AMP)

Worship brings us into line with who He is. Jesus said in John 4:23-24 (AMP);

23A time will come, however, indeed it is already here, when the true (genuine) worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth (reality); for the Father is seeking just such people as these as His worshipers.

24God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality).

There are three distinct parts with which we must worship God. They are the intellect, emotion and spirit or mind, body and spirit. Most of the time we are only operating in one of those areas. At times we will worship with our minds focusing on God’s majesty and wonder. At other times our worship will become emotional as we are touched by God’s goodness and love towards us. But the best is with spirit. When our spirit connects with God’s Spirit and we are transported into His presence. God wants us to worship Him with our whole being. It is wonderful to worship Him in each of these areas but how God wants us to worship Him with is all of them together. Total worship. When we do this He is able to change us in ways we never thought possible. He is able to communicate to us fully His love for us. It is for our benefit not His. We need Him. He will always meet you there.

Oh Really, Mr. Ahmadinejad!

Iran’s president has warned that Muslims around the world will take revenge on states which support Israel against the Palestinians.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad again questioned the extent of the Holocaust, when German Nazis murdered six million Jews.

Israel was founded on "claims about the Holocaust" for which the Palestinians were paying the price, he told a rally.

He was speaking on Jerusalem Day, when there are large demonstrations in Iran in support of the Palestinians.

BBC Tehran correspondent Frances Harrison says the tone of the speech was hardline, even by Mr Ahmadinejad’s standards.

Implicit threat

Mr Ahmadinejad called Israel’s leaders a "group of terrorists" and appeared to threaten any country that supports it.

"You imposed a group of terrorists… on the region. It is in your own interest to distance yourself from these criminals… This is an ultimatum. Don’t complain tomorrow."

The "ultimatum" was directed at European states in particular.

"We have advised the Europeans that the Americans are far away, but you are the neighbours of the nations in this region," Mr Ahmadinejad said.

"We inform you that the nations are like an ocean that is welling up, and if a storm begins, the dimensions will not stay limited to Palestine, and you may get hurt."

‘Israeli insecurity’

Mr Ahmadinejad said Israel no longer had any reason to exist and would soon disappear. "This regime, thanks to God, has lost the reason for its existence. Efforts to stabilise this fake regime, by the grace of God, have completely failed."

Mr Ahmadinejad said: "Even if we assume the Holocaust is true, then why should the Palestinians pay the price for it."

He said millions of Israelis should go back to their countries of origin.

Mr Ahmadinejad said Lebanese Hezbollah militants had shattered the myth of Israel’s military power, so that "Zionists" in their homes in various corners of the world, could not now enjoy security.

The Iranian president has regularly questioned the extent of the Holocaust, and been a trenchant critic of Israel.

In 2004 he drew widespread and angry international criticism when he approvingly quoted comments by Ayatollah Khomeini that Israel’s existence should be brought to an end.

God laughs at Mr. Ahmadinejad’s proud boasting. God has a covenant with the nation of Israel and will defend her. Jerusalem will become Christ’s throne in the very near future. Listen Mr. Ahmadinejad and all you want Israel’s demise. Listen to what the Lord God. The one and only true God would say to you in Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39. Keep in mind that Persia is the ancient name for Iran.

1 The word of the LORD came to me: 2 "Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal; prophesy against him 3 and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. 4 I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords. 5 Persia, Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets, 6 also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops—the many nations with you.

7 " ‘Get ready; be prepared, you and all the hordes gathered about you, and take command of them. 8 After many days you will be called to arms. In future years you will invade a land that has recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate. They had been brought out from the nations, and now all of them live in safety. 9 You and all your troops and the many nations with you will go up, advancing like a storm; you will be like a cloud covering the land.

10 " ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: On that day thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil scheme. 11 You will say, "I will invade a land of unwalled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people—all of them living without walls and without gates and bars. 12 I will plunder and loot and turn my hand against the resettled ruins and the people gathered from the nations, rich in livestock and goods, living at the center of the land." 13 Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all her villages will say to you, "Have you come to plunder? Have you gathered your hordes to loot, to carry off silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods and to seize much plunder?" ‘

14 "Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: In that day, when my people Israel are living in safety, will you not take notice of it? 15 You will come from your place in the far north, you and many nations with you, all of them riding on horses, a great horde, a mighty army. 16 You will advance against my people Israel like a cloud that covers the land. In days to come, O Gog, I will bring you against my land, so that the nations may know me when I show myself holy through you before their eyes.

17 " ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Are you not the one I spoke of in former days by my servants the prophets of Israel? At that time they prophesied for years that I would bring you against them. 18 This is what will happen in that day: When Gog attacks the land of Israel, my hot anger will be aroused, declares the Sovereign LORD. 19 In my zeal and fiery wrath I declare that at that time there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. 20 The fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the beasts of the field, every creature that moves along the ground, and all the people on the face of the earth will tremble at my presence. The mountains will be overturned, the cliffs will crumble and every wall will fall to the ground. 21 I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Sovereign LORD. Every man’s sword will be against his brother. 22 I will execute judgment upon him with plague and bloodshed; I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him. 23 And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD.’

1 "Son of man, prophesy against Gog and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. 2 I will turn you around and drag you along. I will bring you from the far north and send you against the mountains of Israel. 3 Then I will strike your bow from your left hand and make your arrows drop from your right hand. 4 On the mountains of Israel you will fall, you and all your troops and the nations with you. I will give you as food to all kinds of carrion birds and to the wild animals. 5 You will fall in the open field, for I have spoken, declares the Sovereign LORD. 6 I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in safety in the coastlands, and they will know that I am the LORD.

7 " ‘I will make known my holy name among my people Israel. I will no longer let my holy name be profaned, and the nations will know that I the LORD am the Holy One in Israel. 8 It is coming! It will surely take place, declares the Sovereign LORD. This is the day I have spoken of.

9 " ‘Then those who live in the towns of Israel will go out and use the weapons for fuel and burn them up—the small and large shields, the bows and arrows, the war clubs and spears. For seven years they will use them for fuel. 10 They will not need to gather wood from the fields or cut it from the forests, because they will use the weapons for fuel. And they will plunder those who plundered them and loot those who looted them, declares the Sovereign LORD.

11 " ‘On that day I will give Gog a burial place in Israel, in the valley of those who travel east toward the Sea. It will block the way of travelers, because Gog and all his hordes will be buried there. So it will be called the Valley of Hamon Gog.

12 " ‘For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them in order to cleanse the land. 13 All the people of the land will bury them, and the day I am glorified will be a memorable day for them, declares the Sovereign LORD.

14 " ‘Men will be regularly employed to cleanse the land. Some will go throughout the land and, in addition to them, others will bury those that remain on the ground. At the end of the seven months they will begin their search. 15 As they go through the land and one of them sees a human bone, he will set up a marker beside it until the gravediggers have buried it in the Valley of Hamon Gog. 16 (Also a town called Hamonah will be there.) And so they will cleanse the land.’

17 "Son of man, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Call out to every kind of bird and all the wild animals: ‘Assemble and come together from all around to the sacrifice I am preparing for you, the great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel. There you will eat flesh and drink blood. 18 You will eat the flesh of mighty men and drink the blood of the princes of the earth as if they were rams and lambs, goats and bulls—all of them fattened animals from Bashan. 19 At the sacrifice I am preparing for you, you will eat fat till you are glutted and drink blood till you are drunk. 20 At my table you will eat your fill of horses and riders, mighty men and soldiers of every kind,’ declares the Sovereign LORD.

21 "I will display my glory among the nations, and all the nations will see the punishment I inflict and the hand I lay upon them. 22 From that day forward the house of Israel will know that I am the LORD their God. 23 And the nations will know that the people of Israel went into exile for their sin, because they were unfaithful to me. So I hid my face from them and handed them over to their enemies, and they all fell by the sword. 24 I dealt with them according to their uncleanness and their offenses, and I hid my face from them.

25 "Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will now bring Jacob back from captivity and will have compassion on all the people of Israel, and I will be zealous for my holy name. 26 They will forget their shame and all the unfaithfulness they showed toward me when they lived in safety in their land with no one to make them afraid. 27 When I have brought them back from the nations and have gathered them from the countries of their enemies, I will show myself holy through them in the sight of many nations. 28 Then they will know that I am the LORD their God, for though I sent them into exile among the nations, I will gather them to their own land, not leaving any behind. 29 I will no longer hide my face from them, for I will pour out my Spirit on the house of Israel, declares the Sovereign LORD."

It is not Israel who will be destroyed, but those nations that would attack her. God brought His people the Jews back to the land He gave to them back in Abraham’s day. He made a covenant with them. When you touch Israel, you touch the apple of His eye.

10 "Shout and be glad, O Daughter of Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you," declares the LORD. 11 "Many nations will be joined with the LORD in that day and will become my people. I will live among you and you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me to you. 12 The LORD will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land and will again choose Jerusalem. 13 Be still before the LORD, all mankind, because he has roused himself from his holy dwelling." Zechariah 2:10-12

Pray for Israel. As Christians it is our duty. They are the original branches of the vine. We have been grafted in. They too will be part of the body one day. They need our support.

Jesus Is the Only Answer

oOѕρσяту_мυѕℓιмαнOo

Thank you for taking the time to write some comments on my page.

Let me tell first of all that Jesus was not a prophet. He may have spoken prophetically but that’s not who He was. He was and is God in the flesh.

Jesus clearly claimed to be the Messiah and Son of God:

Jesus told the Samaritan woman that he is the Messiah (Jn 4:25-26) Jesus affirmed Peter’s statement that he is the Messiah and Son of God (Mt 16:15-17, see also Mk 8:29-30, Lk 9:20-21) Jesus told the high priest that he is the Messiah and Son of God (Mk 14:61-62, Mt 26:63-64, Lk 22:70) The Jews understood that this meant Jesus was equating himself with God: "he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God" (Jn 5:17-18).

Other places where Jesus equated himself with God: Jesus told the Jews, "I and the Father are one." (Jn 10:24-38) Jesus told the disciples, "You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am." (Jn 13:13) Jesus forgave sins, which only God had the authority to do (Mk 2:5-11, Lk 5:20-24) Jesus said that he had seen Abraham and that he is eternal: "’I tell you the truth,’ Jesus answered, ‘before Abraham was born, I am!’" (Jn 8:57-58) Jesus said that he had seen God, which no one else could do (Jn 6:46)

He is also the only way to heaven and access to the Father.

Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me. John 14:6 (AMP)

This [Jesus] is the Stone which was despised and rejected by you, the builders, but which has become the Head of the corner [the Cornerstone].And there is salvation in and through no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by and in which we must be saved. Acts 14:11-12 (AMP)

That means no one can save you and grant you access to the Father except Jesus. Allah can’t. Neither can Buddha nor any of the other man made gods.

What makes Christianity different is it is not about religion or following a set of rules and regulations. It is based on relationship. When a person accepts Christ, He comes and takes up residence in that person. It is not a one way relationship. It is two way. Jesus said that His sheep know His voice and we know very clearly when He talks to us. It is because of this His relationship and love for us that we able to change. It is also based upon grace. God’s unmerited favor to us because of what Jesus accomplished on the cross. We recognize that we are sinners, unable to change and guilty according to the law. It is God that brings the change, not us.

As Christians we do not hate Muslims. To do so would go against Christ’s nature. God loves every single human being and Christ paid the penalty for all. That means whether you are a Jew, Muslim, Buddhist. Christ died for you. The only thing He asks is that you surrender your life to Him and recognize Him as Lord.

What we do hate and what Jesus hated as well is religion. God detests it. Religion complicates things when it was never supposed to be that way. So yes I am against Islam, but I love and pray for the people. Religion has never saved a soul. It has never raised the dead. It has never healed the sick or set those held captive by sin free. It has only bound people.

31So Jesus said to those Jews who had believed in Him, If you abide in My word [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you are truly My disciples.

32And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.

33They answered Him, We are Abraham’s offspring (descendants) and have never been in bondage to anybody. What do You mean by saying, You will be set free?

34Jesus answered them, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, Whoever commits and practices sin is the slave of sin.

35Now a slave does not remain in a household permanently (forever); the son [of the house] does remain forever. John 8:31-35 (AMP)

People who serve religion are salves to that religion. They are not free. Christ came to set those captive free. Muslims need Jesus. You can know the freedom that Christ brings. Every Muslim who has come to Him knows exactly what I am talking about. You’ll never want to go back again.

Jesus spoke out about religion and so did the apostles because it separates man from a true relationship with the God of the universe that loves us more than we can even think or imagine.

Why have I picked on Islam. More Christians die and are persecuted at the hands of Muslims than any other group of people on earth. Look it up. Very rarely do you hear about Christians doing the same to Muslims. And yet what the nun said who was shot in the back by a Muslim said is what most of them say. Forgive them! Jesus said the very thing dying on the cross, put there by religious people. "Father forgive them for they don’t know what they are doing."

I agree with most of the policies of George Bush and Tony Blair as well as my own Prime Minister Stephen Harper. They have set people who were under very heavy yokes free. Whether they are Christians or not, that is up to God and it is to Him that they will answer. The duty of a Christian is to pray for those who have been placed in power and submit ourseles to them so long as they don’t ask us to do something that would be against the Lord. The  IRA is Christian in name only. The same with Timothy Mcvie. A true relationship with Christ will never lead a Child of God into terrorism.

Jesus loves you my friend. He is real and is there waiting for you with open arms. Are you willing to take a chance? Until then you are only following a set of rules set upon you by a man.

It’s All About Relationship

20Neither for these alone do I pray [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for all those who will ever come to believe in (trust in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word and teaching,

21That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me.

22I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one:

23I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me.

24Father, I desire that they also whom You have entrusted to Me [as Your gift to Me] may be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory, which You have given Me [Your love gift to Me]; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

25O just and righteous Father, although the world has not known You and has failed to recognize You and has never acknowledged You, I have known You [continually]; and these men understand and know that You have sent Me.

26I have made Your Name known to them and revealed Your character and Your very Self, and I will continue to make [You] known, that the love which You have bestowed upon Me may be in them [felt in their hearts] and that I [Myself] may be in them. John 17:20-26 (Amp)

Christianity as it is supposed to be is not about religion. Religion is an abomination to God. It is about relationship. Our relationship with God and with our fellow believers. Christ’s last prayer for us was the one above that we would be one with Him an the Father as well as one with each other. Oh how the church has failed in these things and yet it is so amazing how God still loves us so much.

Religion has done much harm to this world. Religion will never save a soul. It will never heal the sick. It will never raise the dead or set the captives free. More people have been killed in the name of religion than most of the wars combined.

Religion also sets rules and regulations upon people which are almost impossible to follow. One of the reasons Jesus criticized the Pharisees was because they had taken God’s laws and added to them.

Religion has also seeped into the church today and it is one of the main reasons the church is so divided. Men are listening to their own hearts instead of God. They have lost their relationship with Him and try to replace Him with things that please men instead of those things which please God.

The thing that sets Christianity apart from everything else in this world is the very fact that God Himself comes and takes up residence in us when we come to Him at the cross. It is the only one based on relationship not a set of laws and regulations. When Christ is in you, His law is written on your heart. It is through the relationship with Him that we are changed. We can’t change ourselves. Our hearts will always deceive us.

Christianity is also supposed to be about our love for one another. It was never supposed to be about denominations and building big churches. It is supposed to be about building the church. His church. The cross is and always will be our rallying point. It is the one thing we as Christians have in common. It is the small things that separate us and keep us from being what Jesus prayed in John 17.

God is doing a work right now. He is brining the church back to what it should be. Christ’s return is very soon and He is coming back for His bride. A beautiful bride without spot or wrinkle.

At the Cross

But far be it from me to glory [in anything or anyone] except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) through Whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world! Galations 6:14 (AMP)

At The Cross

Chorus 1
At the cross I bow my knee
Where Your blood was shed for me
There’s no greater love than this
You have overcome the grave
Your glory fills the highest place
What can separate me now
Verse 1
Oh Lord You’ve searched me
You know my way
Even when I fail You
I know You love me
Verse 2
Your holy presence
Surrounding me
In every season
I know You love me
I know You love me
Verse 3
You go before me
You shield my way
Your hand upholds me
I know You love me
Misc 1
(BRIDGE)
You tore the veil
You made a way
When You said that
It is done
You tore the veil
You made a way
When You said that
It is done
Verse 4
And when the earth fades
Falls from my eyes
And You stand before me
I know You love me
I know You love me

As a child I wanted so much to please my dad and for some reason I never could. It scarred me deeply to the point I still struggle with my worth in God’s eyes and the eyes of others. But the words "Oh Lord you’ve searched me, You know my way, Even when I fail you, I know You love me."

He loves us even when we fail Him.

Think about that for a moment. Think about all the times you have fallen short and wondered how can anyone ever love you. How can a God who has searched me and knows the wickedness of my heart still love me? But He does and the cross proves His love for you. Without the cross and the shedding of Christ’s blood on that cross you would have been a person without hope.

And God purposed that through (by the service, the intervention of) Him [the Son] all things should be completely reconciled back to Himself, whether on earth or in heaven, as through Him, [the Father] made peace by means of the blood of His cross.  And although you at one time were estranged and alienated from Him and were of hostile attitude of mind in your wicked activities, Yet now has [Christ, the Messiah] reconciled [you to God] in the body of His flesh through death, in order to present you holy and faultless and irreproachable in His [the Father’s] presence. Galations 1:20-22 (AMP)

An instrument of torture became an instrument of love and reconciliation. It became the place where God said; "My child I love you so much I am willing to sacrifice my own Son so that I can be with you." It became the place where your sin was done away with so that you could be presented to the Father as a pure and spotless child. All your sins, all your failures, past, present and future, Christ took upon Himself there. He took them and threw them as far as the east is from the west. Never to be remembered or found again.

9For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature].

10And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead–Father, Son and Holy Spirit–and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power].

11In Him also you were circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, but in a [spiritual] circumcision [performed by] Christ by stripping off the body of the flesh (the whole corrupt, carnal nature with its passions and lusts).

12[Thus you were circumcised when] you were buried with Him in [your] baptism, in which you were also raised with Him [to a new life] through [your] faith in the working of God [as displayed] when He raised Him up from the dead.

13And you who were dead in trespasses and in the uncircumcision of your flesh (your sensuality, your sinful carnal nature), [God] brought to life together with [Christ], having [freely] forgiven us all our transgressions,

14Having cancelled and blotted out and wiped away the handwriting of the note (bond) with its legal decrees and demands which was in force and stood against us (hostile to us). This [note with its regulations, decrees, and demands] He set aside and cleared completely out of our way by nailing it to [His] cross.

15[God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross]. Galations 2:9-15 (AMP)

If you have come to the cross and asked Christ to be Lord and Savour of your life you should no longer be living a life of condemnation. You have been given the victory. He has declared you to be His child and He is a Father like no earthly Father could ever be. He has declared that He will never leave or forsake you. His love for you is such that we have been given just a mere glimpse of what it truly is otherwise it would completely overwhelm us.

31What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]

32He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things?

33Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect [when it is] God Who justifies [that is, Who puts us in right relation to Himself? Who shall come forward and accuse or impeach those whom God has chosen? Will God, Who acquits us?]

34Who is there to condemn [us]? Will Christ Jesus (the Messiah), Who died, or rather Who was raised from the dead, Who is at the right hand of God actually pleading as He intercedes for us?

35Who shall ever separate us from Christ’s love? Shall suffering and affliction and tribulation? Or calamity and distress? Or persecution or hunger or destitution or peril or sword?

36Even as it is written, For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long; we are regarded and counted as sheep for the slaughter.

37Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us. Romans 8:31-37 (AMP)

If your feeling discouraged today and feel you have lost your way, come back to the cross and remember what He’s done there for you. Don’t stay there. The cross is not to be a place where we dwell. But we can come back from time to time to remember Christ’s love for us. He has given you the victory. Choose this day to believe in His love for you and walk in it.
