I get pretty upset at the way the entertainment industry has been trying to break down the moral values that held our society together. It is a known fact that films that portray good values earn far more money than any others and yet Hollywood keeps producing more R rated films than any others. It’s no wonder they have been losing money! They have an agenda and that is to change those moral values which we hold dear. Good becomes evil and evil good.

If he wasn’t in heaven, my father, 1930’s box-office award-winning, Hollywood cowboy star, Bob "Tex" Allen – and his more recognizable successors, like John Wayne and Gene Autry – would be rolling over in their graves. Except for an occasional movie like "Silverado," "Pale Rider" or "Tombstone," Hollywood keeps trying its best to ruin the spirit of the western. And, they wonder why most of the westerns Hollywood has been making in the last 25 years don’t make much money!

"Brokeback Mountain," a modern homosexual cowboy movie that tells the 20-year love affair between two men starting in 1963, is twisted, laughable, frustrating, plotless and often boring. It’s also politically correct. Thus, it’s sure to reap many awards this year from the leftwing media throughout the world and the leftwing elites in Hollywood, including the so-called "Gay Mafia."

The movie opens in Wyoming in 1963 where two young cowboys, Ennis and Jack, are hired to tend some sheep near Brokeback Mountain. The two men become fast friends. One night, however, their friendship becomes an evening of lust and passion, a scene that plays like a nightmarish homosexual rape set in San Quentin Prison.

For 20 years, the two men carry on a secret affair, despite the fact that they get married to women and have children. One of the wives finds out, but the other one mostly only suspects, until tragedy strikes, and she finds out for certain.

"Brokeback Mountain" is well-acted, although Heath Ledger as Ennis sometimes sounds like Carl from "Sling Blade," the character that Billy Bob Thornton made famous. The problem is that the story is relatively plotless, and the pace is slow and choppy at times. The movie’s running time is also much too long. All of this makes for a boring, and sometimes laughable, though well-produced and well-photographed travelogue.

The main conflict in this movie is between the two cowboys. Jack wants them both to get divorced and tend a ranch together, but Ennis is too afraid of the scandal their relationship would cause. Secretly, however, Ennis, is also haunted by the corpse of a murdered, castrated homosexual cowboy his father made him see when Ennis was very young. Of course, one of the two cowboys ends up being murdered, too.

Thus, in the end, the ultimate goal of the filmmakers behind "Brokeback Mountain" is to send a politically correct message about how awful American society is in its treatment of homosexuals. To complement this evil message is a scene where Jack mocks people who go to church and who sing hymns about Jesus Christ.

The movie also presents a very negative stereotype of strong heterosexual fathers. In fact, the homosexual cowboy whose guilt prevents the two perverted lovers from riding off into the sunset together is shown to be an apathetic father. Only the love of one of his daughters is able to free the man from his apathy and indifference toward her. Furthermore, the most admirable homosexual cowboy is shown to be the most affectionate father toward his child.

Of course, adding to this politically correct tone is plenty of strong foul language, explicit sex scenes and explicit nudity. Surprisingly, there also is a strong tone of sadomasochism to the homosexual relationship in the movie. These scenes probably are the most unintentionally laughable scenes in the entire movie. The movie suggests, however, that this is due to the sexual repression that American society allegedly brings against sodomites like the two homosexual cowboys.

As we predicted above, there are sure to be many leftwing awards for this twisted, laughable, frustrating, plotless and boring piece of homosexual, neo-Marxist propaganda. If only the leftists, radical feminists and communists would show the same compassion for the wives of homosexual perverts like these two characters, the world might be a better place. Don’t count on that happening any time soon, however.

I saw the media coverage on CNN about this movie.And they said something to the effect that if people hate this movie because of homosexualitty that says more about them then the movie itself, because the movie is about love.What a crock eh? How carefully designed is this evil.It\’s carefully crafted so that the public should think that love is love even if its homosexual, and that if you dont agree with them you are a hateful person.This movie is a sign of the times, that is for sure.Erika

  3. What I find so funny is that the homosexual community in Hollywood doesn\’t have any really good actors so they had to hire to hetrosexuals to play the roles. But I also believe that part of their plan was to use to actors that were box office draws to draw unsuspecting people in.In the Golden Globes nominations there was not a single family oriented film named except for maybe best song. And the 3 top nominated films have to do with homosexual themes. Tells you who is running the show.

His depression is gone and he sees a future. I pray he will continue to do well, its not the first time he has quit, but now he sees that pot is a depressant and Christmas can be spent with us..I always tell him to add a \’t\’ to the end of his name and this is Who he is representing in his actions.   7. Gerry,when i first saw any type of advertising for this movie it was in poster form. I saw Heath Ledger and thought, Oh a Heath film, YAY, and I looked for more information about it. Unfortunately the moment I found out it was about two cowboys who fall in love with each other and have a hidden homosexual life from their wives and families I have lost a lot of respect for both of the actors, not just Heath, but also Jake. It will be a little while before I will be able to watch a film with either of them in it knowing that they could and did do a movie such as this one. Like you said Hollywood is coming out with more and more movies that have nothing to do with family values but more to do with trying to shame us for having morals and Christian family values. I have seen less movies in this past year then since the year I started going to see movies in the theatre, and that is really sad.God bless in your information gathering for us and your reminders from Isaiah and Philippians.Bethany.

As a former media student, I know a few things about film.The Western genre is unique… because by nature it is pretty much restricted to having all its films set in the US (with the possible exception of Quigley Down Under :-)).All western movies are evocative of the era they are made in, and because they are about America, they always relate to America during the period the film is made in. Basically westerns are always either a symbolic or critical parable of America itself in the generation they are made in.So while the film in itself may be dodgy, it says a lot more about America and it\’s culture.

That is just one part of the Bible and Jesus had much more to say. He is the bible, He is the Living Word of God. I have much more compassion towards homosexuals than you you\’ll ever know. No matter what kind of works you do will save you either. There is only one way out of the mess that this world is in and that is through Christ. God doesn\’t want anybody to go to hell and that is why Jesus sacrificed Himself on a cross. Sin requires punishment and we all deserve it. Jesus took our punishment for us. The only thing that is required on our part is to repent from our sins and believe. Come visit our church and see if we don\’t practice what we preach and let me ask you what are you doing to help others and bring them good news? Yes there are earthly consequences for our sins, but in heaven and in God\’s sight we have been forgiven as long we recognize the price that Jesus paid. Should we continue to sin after salvation? No! Do we sin? Yes, but if we do we have an advocate in Christ. Our freedom in Crist is never a license to sin. Our love for the Lord should be such that all desire to sin is swept away.

The whole reason Jesus died was because we are not in a position to pay for our transgressions. It basically refers to Jesus\’ sacrifice. He\’s called the Lambe because we consider him our perfect Passover Lamb (sacrificed in Jewish Law.)Secondy, Godless Monkey… where does it say divorce is a sin? Moses made provision for it in the Law… and if I\’m not mistaken Nehemiah practically forced his people to divorce polytheistic foreign wives. Jesus brought it up because the pharisees were abusing it. They were basically marrying women and if they did not find them "satisfying" were divorcing them… treating women like slabs of meat. The pharisees were prostituting themselves. This is why Jesus taught that divorce was only to be on the grounds of marital unfaithfulness – some people take that to mean only adultery, but I think it can be applied to any serious breach of marital vows… like wife beating.Thirdly, I find it highly ironic that people are attacking Gerry when just a few days ago he was defending homosexuals from the bigotry of a moronic American preacher called Fred Phelps… if you don\’t believe me read down to the 9th December, it is there in black and green.What a lot of people are failing to see is that Gerry is demonstrating the theological principle of loving the sinner but hating the sin. I have no intention of going to see a film about two guys making out. Homosexuality is wrong, has always been wrong and will always be wrong in God\’s sight. There is nothing norrow sighted about it. Like any sinner homosexuals have to come to repentence. Even the way our bodies were designed by God teaches you that it is un-natural. I will this this and I will say it LOUD and CLEAR. God loves every human being. But it is sin that seperates us from Him. Whether it be lying, stealing, gossip, hatred or homosexuality, it seperates us. The only thing that saves us is Jesus Christ. Then we are to turn from our sin not continue in it. Jesus told the woman who was caught in adultery not to sin anymore. Homosexuals are welcome in our church any time as long as they are not there to cause problems. If I was to hate them then I\’d be sinning wouldn\’t I?You think the homosexuals don\’t have an agenda. There is processes in the court right now trying to stike down religeous exemption and to try and force us to marry them. You may say you were a Christian and attended a church been raised up in a Christian home but that doesn\’t mean you were a Christian any more than going to a McDonald\’s makes you a hamburger. If you really knew Christ, you would not have left Him. It would not have mattered to you what others did. But your eyes were not on Jesus, they were on others. He always went to the heart of the matter. As for shepherds warning the people about their sins. So tell me was Paul judging when he spoke about the peoples sins? Was Peter? What about John, James or Jude? You people are fond of saying only God can judge and yet they were mere men were they not? But of course the Word was written by men as they were led by the Holy Spirit. The same Holy Spirit that is at work in the church today. God loves you but you need to get yourself right with Him. Get to know Him. Stop blamming others for your anger

Backsliding implies that I will want to go back one day. It also implies that I reject God, which I do not.   34. wowsa.thats all i have to say. to each their own i suppose.You are in my prayers and i hope your holidays bring you and yours much joy, as i celebrate with my partner, away from my family who cannot accept me as thier son because of beliefs like your own. I have never taken anyones job because i was same sex attracted. I have however been prevented from taking jobs for it. I have also been prevented from sharing my partner with my peers for fear of physical abuse. I have experienced verbal and physical abuse for being same sex attracted. i have not verbally or physically abused anyone for being opposite sex attracted. And all along I have prayed for a simple thing. Acceptance and love for who i am. Why I ask, would God have made me and my partner this way, if it is so wrong?I trust my heart that in heaven, we will share the same rights as you enjoy. As I said if God meant for it to be that way he would have designed your body for accomidation. Your body is designed for a relationship with a woman. Your lifestyle is anything but normal.I am sorry to hear you have been treated like that. But I can assure you that there have been many Christians that have been spit upon and mocked. Urine and feces have been left at and smeared on their doors. Come into a true and loving relationship with Christ and let Him create in you everything you are truly meant to be.

  42. ZantiStop being a complete moron. As a minister I am called to warn the people about the consequences of sin. It\’s up to people to heed those warnings or not. If not, then they have to pay the price. It is the same way that I knew my hard disk was going to fail. My computer kept warning my and I ignored the signs. Because I ignored the warnings I am paying the price. Sin such as homosexuality or any other sin carries a cost and if you don\’t heed the warnings that are given, one day it will be too late and believe me, you don\’t want to have to face those consequences.
