Moloch was the national god of the Ammonites, a group descended from Lot that inhabited the land east of the Jordan river before the arrival of the Israelites. His pagan rituals were adopted by Israel in spite of God’s warnings that they were not to worship the gods of the people they had conquered. One of the places that Moloch was worshipped was in Tophet, "in the valley of the son of Hinnom, very near Jerusalem, where the image of Moloch (that god of unnatural cruelty, as others were of unnatural uncleanness) was kept, to which some sacrificed their children, burning them in the fire, others dedicated them, making them to pass through the fire (2 Kings 23:10), labouring in the very fire, Habbukah 2:13. The 12th century rabbi Rashi, commenting on Jeremiah 8.31 stated:

Tophet is Moloch, which was made of brass; and they heated him from his lower parts; and his hands being stretched out, and made hot, they put the child between his hands, and it was burnt; when it vehemently cried out; but the priests beat a drum, that the father might not hear the voice of his son, and his heart might not be moved.

They believed that child sacrifice was necessary to ensure the health and well being of the community.

Today the same thing is still practised in our society although the method is different the methodology behind it is for the most part still the same. Children are being sacrificed for what many believe is their own health and well being through abortion. Life begins at the moment of conception, not at birth.

13For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,

16 your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

17 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Psalm 139

I am awfully tired of hearing people getting angry about the killing of baby seals and other animals on which people’s livelihood depends. These same people defend the woman’s right to an abortion. They claim that there would be too many unwanted children. Since when does anyone’s right to live depend on someone else killing them? Killing the unwanted is a monestrous evil. There are so many couples who can not have children who’s hearts ache and have to wait years to adopt because there is not many children to adopt. These children are wanted.

"More than 95 percent of children killed by abortion are killed for reasons of convenience, not incest, not rape, not the physical condition of the unborn, and not the threatened health of the mother." (Alan Guttnacher Institute: research arm of Planned Parenthood, quoted by Charles R. Swindoll.)

Worldwide, millions of unborn babies are killed each year. In the United States, over thirty-two million unborn babies have been killed in twenty-one years since abortion was legalized, and more than 1.5 million are killed each year.

One of the methods that is used to kill the child is called a saline abortion "Salt Poisoning," or the saline method, is used after the sixteenth week of pregnancy. A needle is inserted through the abdominal wall, through the uterine wall and into the amniotic sac. Some of the amniotic fluid is removed and replaced with a concentrated salt solution. The unborn child breathes in and swallows the salt and is poisoned by it. The outer layer of the child’s skin is usually burned off by the corrosive effect of the salt. The mother goes into labour and a dead or dying baby is delivered 24 to 48 hours later.

Others are:

Suction Aspiration This is the most common method of abortion during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. General or local anaesthesia is given to the mother and her cervix is dilated. A suction curette (hollow tube with a knife-0edged tip) is inserted into the womb. This instrument is then connected to a vacuum machine by a transparent tube. The vacuum suction, 29 times more powerful than a household vacuum cleaner, tears the unborn child into pieces which are sucked through the tube into a bottle and discarded.

Dilation and Curettage (D&C) This method is similar to the suction method with the added insertion of a loop-shaped knife (curette) which cutes the baby into pieces. The pieces are scraped out through the cervix and discarded.

Dilatation and Evacuation (D&E) This method is used up to 18 weeks gestation. Instead of the loop-shaped knife used in D & C abortions, a pair of forceps is inserted into the womb to grasp part of the fetus. The teeth of the forceps twist and tear the calcified bones of the unborn child. This process is repeated until the baby is totally dismembered and removed. Sometimes the head of the child is too large and must be crushed in order to remove it.

If you have had an abortion or participated in or performed one or even advocated it, let me put it as bluntly as possible. YOU ARE A MURDERER!!! And when you stand before God you will be judged as such. Judgement is coming and there is no escape except through Jesus Christ. Wake up America! You are guilty of the blood of millions and God is not going to turn a blind eye to it much longer.

Many of you have been carrying so much guilt around in you for so many years because of an abortion you had. It’s time to let go of it and give it to Jesus. There is no sin that He can’t forgive. Your child is not gone, but safe with Him. There can be a day when you can be reunited with that child in eternity, but first you need to recognize that you are a sinner. The bible says that we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23. There is none righteous no not even one. Romans 3:10. Come to Jesus and ask His forgiveness, believe in Him and confess Him as Lord and Saviour. Salvation that comes from trusting Christ–which is the message we preach–is already within easy reach. In fact, the Scriptures say, "The message is close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart."9For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. Romans 10:8-10

God loves you come to Him today and take comfort in Him today.

Here are some situations that I would like you to ponder and I will give my answers on them either later today or tomorrow morning:

1. There’s a preacher and wife who are extremely poor. They already have fourteen children, and now she finds out she’s pregnant with the fifteenth. They are living in tremendous poverty. Considering their poverty and the excessive world population, would you consider recommending and abortion?

2. The father is sick with a bad cold, the mother has tuberculosis. They have four children. The first is blind, the second has died, the third is deaf and the fourth has tuberculosis. She finds out she is pregnant again. Given their extreme situation, would you consider recommending and abortion?

3. A white man has raped a thirteen year old black girl, and she became pregnant. If you were her parents, would consider recommending an abortion?

4. A teenage girl is pregnant. She is not married. Her husband to be is not the father of the baby, and he’s concerned. Would you consider recommending an abortion?

What say you?

If you said yes to the first case, you just killed John Wesley, one of the great evangelists in the nineteenth century. If you said yes to the second case you just killed Ludwig van Beethoven. If you said yes to the third case, you killed Ethel Waters, the great gospel singer who thrilled audiences for many years at Billy Graham Crusades around the world. And, if you said yes to the fourth case, you killed Jesus Christ.

  1. Uggg, did we really need to hear all the gory details? Your gonna get a whack of comments on this tender subject, while I agree with you, its kinda gross..now I have the images in my head…it was so much more comfortable with it in the sand.

  2. Hi everybody, I agree with gerry…Amen!! Each baby is a very precious gift God created and to give. We have 6 children from 13 yrs old to 3 yrs. Our daily lives are very challenges. And we make it through each of the days which God give us the daily strengths, talents, and wisdom to take care of our kids….what challenges we face? We are both profoundly deaf and we have no jobs, as we are on the dasiblity benefits…..my husband has several health problems and he cannot work very good (Arthritis, diabetes, lung disease, back pains) and i watch after my little girls and to take care of alll the house chores which my hubby sometime cannot help to clean up when his body is in the pains! Our children all can hear and are in perfect health, active! God gave us 6 children who are so expensive and cherished babies we cannot turrn away from , but love and value them as the best gifts we ever got from God and God knows we can take care of them…NO EXCUSES- if God gives us one then we are responisble to take care of this baby who God has planned in her/his life for His purposes. Whoever kill the babies , God had plannned in His will for the purpose but people tore down and took away His will in the babies lives… and their purposes were stolen! For an example, you might kill a baby who supposed to be a great witnessing or pastor who d bring many many people to Jesus in the one day of the future….this baby was gone…. who willl help bring people to Jesus….more and more people are lost and gone to hell….because maybe this baby was a key to be used for them…….God made a baby in the womb which God wanted it to be…bu you\’ d think God is wrong to make a baby and wrong of him to let it llive… who are you that you think you are right in stopping God from His will? God created you! You enjoy the life God gave you… you love the life , dont you? What about the baby? How cruel and selfish pepople think of themselves only ,not the babies. They must think before they kill them,…to think back about you being a baby.. you saw a new life, breathe each inhale…enjoy many things and sightseeings , play the water in the lake, feel water gushing on you, feel the furs of the animals, to hug them…feeeeel good! What about the babies? Nothing! Of course i know they do have in Heaven but something must be a reason why God created a baby to live on the earth…….something must be very important for his plans. If a baby itself die in womb in the natural way, God planned that. BUt the abortion takes away His will in each of the babies. How do you feel if you built the new house after you carefully made the blue printings, lot of work in the papers, but then someone destroy this house with a fire, and you lost your future, you again built another house, but again they destroyed this house with the same manner,,, what will you do? ANGER? The same with God\’s anger…. be careful how you handle with many things God created..we need to honor Him..anything He created are very right. Look, why God created the trees? They give us the oxygen to breathe and we give them the COV to breathe, God made them very perfect reasons.. like the babies God allowed to grow in the womb are very reason. If my teenager daughter carelessly gets pregnant, i wont kill it, but i will be honored to be a gramma and to help taking care of this baby with my daughter….God has the reason to allow… please think why God allows the babies come into the wombs of women and He creat them! We cannot stop God, but God can stop the breathe!

  3. I dunno im not exactly a strong believer in the adoption system. Ive had a few friends who have been brought up by abusive(physically and sexually) foster parents who were even strong believers in your faith. I dont view the people who choose to abort their unwanted children MURDERERS as you put it. They are probably just putting themselves in the childs position and thinking "would i want to chance that hapening to my child… or should i wait for myself to be more prepared and ensure a healthy future for my next child". Personally I would rather not be brought into this world sexually abused or neglected then to be concieved and pushed into a situation like that because my parents didnt want to be judged by the all mighty. Also one of those friends of mine killed themselves because of the psycological problems related to their childhood. Im not a strong advocate for either side here im just saying its a choice that has to be made by the people in that situation and they shouldnt feel judged or attacked for whatever decision they choose. — just my opinion, hope you dont judge me too harshly. This was not ment to offend anyone. Thank you.

  4. Gerry, I was truly horrified after reading this. I can\’t imagine these acts of cruel destruction happening to my baby boy and girl. "Convenience" is such a friendly sounding word… it is a wolf in sheeps clothing.Jason

  5. I consider myself a christian and yet still in sin, as I;msure everyone is and I guess the curse upon us we;ve been given is free will, if not for our ways we would be perfect, still we strive forward. In my endless nights of crying out I believe it was free will that lead me to a choice, And maybe her was there for me in grace.for my own sircumstances only he knows about ,and I feel I was forgiven for being what has now been labled me, a murderer.

  6. Sunflower-seed2 You are forgiven and have been washed clean by the blood of Christ. There is no condemnation. That label has been washed away by Jesus and you stand with a new name known only to Him.

  7. Ciao Gerry; WOW….You know Pastor Paul??? wow, you are blessed…I wish that I could meet him someday, but only got to know him through the site links. He has encouraged me alot, and helped me out alot as well. Wow, I can not believe it, how blessed you are to know such a wonderful man of God. Yes, we have found an English Speaking Church here in Italy, and the Pastor here is also wonderful as well. I am very happy, and very thankful to God for helping us find one, that was a hard job….Thanks for your comments on my site as well. I look forward every day to work on it, I have dedicated it to the Lord, and I pray that others will be blessed when they enter into my site. Yours is also great, I love to stop in and read, and hear your sweet songs, they are all so wonderful.God Bless YouLove,ShelleyxXx

Gerry, you have hit the nail on the head!I just about exploded this morning when I heard the local news media talked about a book that advocates that one of the reasons crime is down in this decade is because all those who would have committed the crimes would have been born in the 60\’ 70\’s & 80\’s, but they were aborted, giving us a lower crime rate today.I wanted to shake them and tell them that it is SIN that causes crime, and that the abortion they were talking about was SIN. And I’m sorry folks, but the sin rate has not gone down at all. And Gerry’s blog proves it. I’m ashamed that we in the United States poor millions of dollars into this form of murder, WE SUPPORT IT WITH OUR MONEY. Like the highway signs “Your tax dollars at work”. Abortion is never ok.

  10. hey man nice stuff here ay 😀 i was just watching you know "kent hovind" he talks about creations and lotsa stuff ayman hes awesome ay!! so funny and cool heheand ya you can watch these seminars at http://www.biblebelievers.com/hovind/and ya hes pretty cool ay is all free and ya i bet you like itand he talks abput abortions and stuff so cool and i do agree with you and ya when we are christians we have the same pricibilities ay :Dyou just take care man remember "jesus didnt come to the world to judge the world, but to save the world through him"amen to that my brotherlove geoffgar 😀

  11. My last comment was deleted somehow by something like "Catastrophic error…bblbllblbhahba" so here I go again: Good post, it made me naseated to hear how they abort the pregnancies, I think people should read this before considering abortion! Me and my friends were discussing it the other day and came to the conclusion that: isn\’t it evidence enough that abortion isn\’t supposed to happen since your body isn\’t designed to allow it. (I can\’t remember how I worded it last time :S) anyway, thanks for visiting my space, and great post!

  12. tashalaughs said:

Hi, I randomly came across your space. In answer to your questions. Maybe the preacher and his wife should practice something called birth control. Anyone who gets raped, especially a young girl should be able to abort her pregnancy. It\’s a shame that you had to use the "race card" on that one. The unmarried teen knew what she was doing, but she has the right to do what she wants. Birth. And the terminally sick family, YEAH GO ON HAVE KIDS SO THEY CAN DIE AND THE PARENTS CAN DIE SO THE KIDS ARE ADOPTED ANYWAYS. What the hell. Condoms are cheap, birth control pills are cheap. I\’m a christian too, but I also agree that people have rights. Let God judge them, not you.

  13. tashalaughs said:

Also, there really isn\’t a shortage of kids to be adopted. If you\’re having trouble in your own country, (which is bull) go look at any third world country, where children die by the ten of thousands every day. Maybe we should be taking care of the children that we already have, instead of bringing more children to grow up in poverty.

  14. ξnderThe children have the right to live. God has already judged the world and it is up to us to warn them that retribution is coming, but there is salvation through Jesus Christ. You say your a Christian, read your bible and get your facts straight. As far as the race card goes these are not made up stories, these are cases that actually happened.

  15. tashalaughs said:

Did you not pay attention to anything I wrote? USE BIRTH CONTROL and we won\’t have these problems. Have fun with your kid when you get raped.

  16. ξnder Due to the shortage of white infants available for adoption, international adoption has become more common. http://www.canadianparents.ca/CPO/FamilyRoom/ParentingGeneral/2004/08/10/pf-592050.htmlIt costs approx. $35,000 to adopt a child from overseas. That means many childless couples are left out in the cold. If you are taking the side of abortion, don\’t you dare call yourself a Christian. You are a hypocrit and if you advocate abortion you are just as much of a murderer as the abortionist.

  17. ξnder Birth control doesn\’t work and it promotes promiscuity. Abstinence until marraige is what is best. If my child was raped we would take care of the child and love it just as much as any child deserves to be loved.

  18. Dude, isn\’t america the land of the free?? meaning free in all aspects of life, especially freedom of choice?? or would you rather live in a country where you were ruled by a dictator, and forced to do what you are told? oh wait, you are religious, same difference!!

  19. SavageI can\’t force anyone to do anything, but I can warn people that there are consequences to their actions and that one day they will be judged on those actions. The bible makes it clear that murder is wrong and that is what abortion is.Are you aware that the incidence of breat cancer among those that have had abortions is much higher than the norm? Are you also aware that many of the women face long term effects from depression? Only God has the right to take a life and we here in the west have been playing God.

  20. I\’ve heard your example stories before. I know that one of your examples, possibly number two, the child born was Ludwig Von Beethoven, example four is definitely the birth of Jesus, I\’m not sure of number 1, and I *think* that number 3 is a famous singer.Anyways, abortion under any circumstances is wrong. Gerry you are beyond right. Birth Control doesn\’t work: it has a huge rate of failure. Yet they still teach it in school. I should know, I just did the "health" 5 years ago. Kids are being taught that they don\’t need to control themselves, but they should instead have "safe" sex. The kicker here? This is a Catholic school in the Ontario system. I find it absolutely disgusting that they can teach kids these things without guilt. As for abortion, most people made the choice to have sex. In the case of rape, it is not that person\’s fault, but neither is it the fault of the child. What right do we have to say that this child is "inconvenient", and doesn\’t deserve to live. The way they were conceived has no bearing on how that child is as a person and a child of God.Also, would you mind posting the answers to your examples?~digitrev

  21. Gerry, I do not believe in abortion for any reason. I am an adoptive mother of 2. Having at the age of 21 cancer. I am so thankful God allowed us to bring these children up and allowed us to be parents of which I so desperately wanted to be. My heart was so grieved before that time.. God doesnt want us to kill innocent babies inside the womb. He has created them and knows all about them…from the time of conception..God does hate sin but that doesnt give people a reason to murder a child (baby) in the womb or to abort them for any reason..Place this child up for adoption. Give them life.May God bless you as you continue to minister the Word of God to all who come into this site .. Amen.Patricia in Frederiction, New Brunswick

  22. I disagree. I think very serious thought needs to go into even considering abortion, but its the mother\’s choice whether or not she wants to have her baby. I supposed anyone who hasn\’t had to make the decision wouldnt understand the serious thinking behind the choice.

  23. MargeWhat can be more serious than the taking of a human life. Only God has that right. Read the statistics, 95 percent of all abortions are done because of inconvenience. Children are a blessing, not a curse and certainly not an inconvenience. Standing before God for murdering an innocent child is the most serious thought that any woman should have before deciding to have an abortion. The loss of that child or children will haunt you for the rest of your life and only Christ can set you free.

  24. Yet again you are condeming. where is your love?adoption is a billion dollar industry and i am a birth mother. given a choice knowing what i kno now, abortion wouldve been a better option. you are in no place to pass judgement. just ask the thousads of natural parents who greive their children every single day. adoption is worse than abortion, beccause it causes so much more damage. the research is there and the stats are in. adoptees and birth parents are much of the mental health community. The Primal wound affects for LIFE. you cant just give your baby up as a gift. you are a very bad example to others. do i think abortion is right? really until I am GOD and can be supreme over others, its not really for me to judge.im saddened that you continually post these issues because this wasnt was Christ was about. Youve missed the mark and are doing a disservce. your posts only push people farther away from knowing Jesus, because you hand pick sins. SIN IS SIN and any all are forgiveable. I\’m shaking my head in major disappointment. And the Bible says , you will be judged by the same manner you judge others. shouldnt you be spreading a message of love? what God has done in your life and the lives you know of? abortion, homosexuality, etc. all between a person and God. not for any man or woman to proclaim anything. i wont be back to read your page ever again. it makes me sick

  25. Hi GerryExcellent word. For some just another case for argument. There is no negotation concerning death verses life. Abortion is murder because God says so. Although people do have the freedom of choice, it is that choice that also manifests their foolishness or their proper fear of God.A person must feel deep remorse for their sin and actions and then see the Redeemer who wants to save and forgive them.

  26. CoolGirlJadeAnd Erika I know the pain that you suffer from losing a child and we are praying for you and will continue to pray for you. Let me ask you this was Paul, Peter, James or any of the other writers of the biible judging when they spoke out about sin? Or were they proclaiming the truth and warning people that if they didn\’t stop what they were doing there was consequences to pay. It is because the church has become soft that things like this happen. The whole thing with the Holocost happened in Germany because the German church didn\’t speak out. Only a few like Dietrich Bonhoeffer did and they paid for it with their lives. And of course great woman of God, you didn\’t read through to the end where I do speak of love and give hope. You don\’t see the bigger picture. My pastor has an adopted son who\’s mother was a drug addict. She willingly gave up her son because she knew she couldn\’t raise a child and I have also known many adopted children that has recieved great love. You look at things from a single point of veiw because of your situation. You don\’t see the hurt that childless couples go through. You don\’t know the pain of a woman who\’s womb is closed and longs to be a mother.I have to ask the question Erika, when persecution comes and you are asked straight out if you are a Christian, where will you stand? You are very much part of the problem. You said; i am a birth mother. given a choice knowing what i kno now, abortion wouldve been a better option. I feel even more sad for your daughter and sad for you.

  27. CoolGirlJade, You know I luv ya \’sis. I can understand why you feel the way that you do. But you are operating according to your own sense of justice. You think it would have been more merciful to have not allowed the child to live, than let them live in a foster home/be adopted. Did you know that God favors the fatherless and the widows? Anyone who messes with them will be judged:Deuteronomy 27:19 [Amplified]Cursed is he who perverts the justice due to the sojourner or the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow. All the people shall say, Amen. Malachi 3:5 [Amplified]Then I will draw near to you for judgment; I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, against the adulterers, against the false swearers, and against those who oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow and the fatherless, and who turn aside the temporary resident from his right and fear not Me, says the Lord of hosts. And not even just that. Be careful what you wish for. What if you get a call tomorrow, and they say your child is yours, come pick her up. I\’m sure you\’d be eating every word you just said about abortion. DON\’T LOSE HOPE!Just because you think that adoption is worse than abortion, doesn\’t mean it entitles you to the lesser evil. As you said — sin is sin. "do i think abortion is right? really until I am GOD and can be supreme over others, its not really for me to judge."The problem is indecision is the same as making a decision. When we stand before God, He is going to open The Book and bear witness to everything we\’ve ever done. The detail will be unbearable — I\’m sure. The awesome thing about Gerry, and other Men of God who have taken a stand for Him is they are LOVING enough to address the issue no one wants to talk about, so that they can make a decision for God. And have their heart better prepared for when they stand before God. To say, you won\’t judge until judgement day on this issue of abortion, is to leave yourself in a position that when you finally know what the righteous judgement is, it will be too late for you to make the decision.Again, I do understand everything you\’re saying and where you\’re coming from and I feel you. I really feel you. But you gotta toughen up girl! I know you\’ve been tough to get to where you are, but there is an emotional and spiritual toughening you have to go through to go to that next level in Him. Just vent everything inside to Him… release it and let Him touch you and realign you. I know he can heal you and make you whole. Just a thought — maybe once He has brough full restoral to you, perhaps, you\’ll be in a position to bring the healing your little one will need, and he\’ll place her back in your arms.In *His* love,Jason

  28. Coollgirljade,I want you to know that Gerry doesnt judge you, but God does judge people for the abortions. Gerry just tells to warn people about what the bible says….. the Bible is God\’s words that God passed the messages for people to hear and we carry the gospels to tell people. To remind people. To warn people. To comfort them with the Hope words from the bible. To tell people His love and forgiveness. Like people on the earth remind their children to obey the Laws in their country or otherwise they\’d be sent to the jail! Are the parents wrong to tell them about the laws , to warn their children? well, that\’s what we are ding to tell people the warnings about what God says in the BIble and to help people realize how they have done to break God\’s laws and they can ask God to forgive their sins like abortions, etc. This site Gerry wrote to just help people see the Truth about the sin as abortion… the verses in the bible says, " DO NOT KILL", but many governments allow people to do with the abortions-kill the babies. Really funny thing is that the laws also say on the earth, not kill or go to the jail! How about people who had aborted the babies, they don\’t send them to the jail! But they won\’t get away when they face God in the judgement, including the governement people agreed to pass the abortion law….count their sins, too! I am not judging them , neither does Gerry, but we know God WILL! We just want people to realize its wrong and to stop doing it with the abortions.. to repent and to honor God…….. have His forgiveness. Whatever people sow , they will reap. I notice how mothers suffer with the nightmares, heartbroken and guilty..many destroyed to their healths… is REAP from their sowings in the abortions! But they can ask God to forgive them and to be free from the bond of guilty and sin. There is the hope IN Christ. Dear coolgirljage, i don\’t want you to think wrong idea abuot gerry, but he just tells people , i\’d tell people the same thing, but of course we don\’t judge people, however we cannot stop telling people the bluntly truth ,which sometime may make people angry and outraged over the sayings , but don\’t forget it\’s God\’s leading people to tell people….. it\’s His steps in people\’s lives to be led and tell people….we all just carry the gospels, just like the governements remind people to obey the laws or go to the court and to be taken to the jail! We all love you, coolgirl… we just tell people the truth or otherwise they will face God\’s judgement and to be cast into the Hell. We rather tell people , to help them by aviod Gd\’s judgement is to help them to repent in His mercy. Hope you undy what we are doing in order to help people see the sins and to repent., not to judge them.

  29. Gerry? You need to get YOUR facts straight. Unborn babies do NOT breathe. Ever. They obtain their oxygen through their mother\’s umbilical cord. So, while salination abortion USED to be used, it no longer is, and it NEVER worked by having the baby "breathe in the poison."Nice try on the shock-factor, however.

  30. kayConcerning my facts;Amniotic fluid—Fluid inside the membrane that forms a sac around the embryo and later the fetus. The fetus and the placenta produce the amniotic fluid. This buoyant fluid helps the fetus grow uniformly, helps the bones and muscles develop, and allows the baby to move within the uterus. ((Babies breathe this fluid in and out of their lungs in the womb helping the lungs to grow as well.)) It also keeps the amnion (membrane) from sticking to the fetus.http://www.babyzone.com/features/glossary/default.asp?termid=27Salt Poisoning or Saline AbortionMost often used after the first trimester (first three months). The abortionist injects a strong salt solution directly into the amniotic sac (fluid surrounding the baby). The baby breathes and swallows it, is poisoned, struggles, and sometimes convulses. It takes over an hour to kill the baby. The mother delivers the dead baby in a day or two (sometimes alive!).http://www.abortiontv.com/Methods/themanyways.htmWhile saline abortions are not performed as widely as they used to be, according to the latest CDC report they are still being done and in 1999 represented .2% of the 1.5 million abortions done that year.Take care

  31. Gerry, that is not a MEDICALLY-based site. If you were to contact any licensed obstetrician, you would be told that babies DO NOT BREATHE in utero. That is a medically-based fact.I studied my way through four pregnancies. How many babies have you delivered?

  32. yay for kay,Wow, that makes the other three methods much… less… shocking……….?Great point christian Mom!As for your nit-picking about breathing, the solution does enter their nose and mouth through the swallowing and breathing mechanisms: however it happens, it works: http://www.pregnantpause.org/abort/saline.htm (ref pic)There are many other methods that Gerry didn\’t list. For example, the father deciding he doesn\’t want the baby, and beating the mother. Hmm… I wonder where this ranks on the shock-factor scale.Please. Put your pettiness aside christian lady and try to keep context with the heart of the issue.Jason

  33. No, Jason, it doesn\’t make the others less shocking, just less believable. It\’s hard to take seriously people who believe everything they read online. Really, Gerry, how do you know that\’s not another of Rob\’s sites? And I\’m not quite sure where in the Bible it says that abortion is a sin. Can you find it for me? The word "abortion" would be vital in this case.I\’m FOR Christ. I\’m against self-righteous folks who also claim to be doing "God\’s work."Again, boys, when you\’ve experienced all of the chaos that accompanies unexpected or unwanted pregnancy, you get back to me on how it should be handled.

  34. Stop kay, you\’re making yourself look foolish.Quoted from David B. Chamberlain, Ph.Dhttp://www.birthpsychology.com/lifebefore/fetalsense.htmlThe nose develops between 11 and 15 weeks. Many chemical compounds can cross the placenta to join the amniotic fluid, providing the fetus with tastes and odors. The amniotic fluid surrounding the fetus bathes the oral, nasal, and pharyngeal cavities, and babies breathe it and swallow it, permitting direct access to receptors of several chemosensory systems: taste buds in three locations, olfactory epithelia, vomeronasal system, and trigeminal system (Smotherman and Robinson, 1995).Should I list the many other sources. Kay, stop playing around and take a stand for Christ. Stop being the hypocrite and trying to play both sides of the fence. Either you are for Christ or you are not.

  35. kay, The Bible doesn\’t have the word "pornography" in it either. So it must be ok, right?I\’m going to give it to you point-blank: whatever you call yourself, you\’re not saved — so give it a rest. Nowhere even near it. Cancer or no cancer, church-going or not church-going, charity volunteering etc. It all means squat in light of your character and where your heart is. I don\’t know where your heart and character is? Your words confess for themselves.You\’re a fake. Get saved cosmetic christian. But before you do that — get a life. God is not mocked. He\’s not the idiot your taking Him for. Jason

  36. Uh kay"You shall not murder. Exodus 20:13. Life begins at conception. The anguish of facing God for judgement is much more worse than the anguish that anybody could feel because they are pregnant and don\’t want that child. As far as I can tell kay you have no relationship with Christ at all and if you do it is very superficial. The Holy Spirit is very good at revealing the heart\’s of those who are playing games and you kay are playing a a very dangerous game. You are not for Christ, your words don\’t fool me and if you are not for Him, you are against Him. You are going to fall and when you do I hope it is on the right side of the fence and that you come into a true understanding of Christ\’s love for you.

  37. Stop being such a lunitic. Why cant you make poeple believe in Jesus the old fashioned way? By scaring little children with stories of burning for eterninty in a lake of fire.

  38. Well Gerry I never thought I would say this but – I agree with you – just a little bit. I think abortion is wrong, and well since I don\’t believe in religion I don\’t believe that women will go to hell or whatever if they have an abortion. I do think that while on earth they will be consumed with guilt for the rest of their lives and to me that\’s worst than worrying about if I\’m going to heaven or not. However I don\’t agree that the pill promotes promiscuity, girls are going to have sex weather we like it or not as parents it is our duty to teach our kids as best we can and let them make their life decisions. The pill or any birth control is a way for our kids to be safe while choosing their life path. Also, the only time I would ever agree to an abortion would be in the case of rape, if my daughter was raped I would not want her to have the baby, I believe that the baby would always be a reminder of a horrific event and I don\’t think it would be truly loved the way it should be, I mean I understand that it\’s not the baby\’s fault but I couldn\’t imagine looking into my baby\’s/grandchild’s eyes and see the person who brutally violated me or my child.Anyhoo, I just wanted to add my 2 cents!

  39. Metallica_1903 This is the way the gospel was preached for a long time. It is only in the last century that some churches softened up the message and tried to please men rather than God. The real fool is the one who says there is no God.

  40. §k¥€M€®Ç€ð€§ Nice of you to drop by. I haven\’t heard from you in a while. Hope all is well with you.Being a believer in Christ, if it ever came that my daughter was raped, I would still love that child, not only that, but I would have to find forgiveness in my heart for what the person had done and forgive him. That\’s not an easy thing to do for some but with Christ it is possible. I have lived through some pretty horiffic situations but in the end I have always been able to forgive and the reason for that is because of all that Christ has forgiven me.Take care, it was good to hear from you.

  41. Riddle me this Batman: If the teenage girl wasn\’t married, how did she have a husband?

  42. "A teenage girl is pregnant. She is not married. Her HUSBAND TO BE is not the father of the baby, and he’s concerned. Would you consider recommending an abortion?"Husband to be, ok? Husband-to-be…Way to dig deep for that one though. I\’ll tell you a secret though: No one is perfect, so if you look hard enough, you\’ll always find something wrong with everyone. But their faults don\’t justify our sins.Jason

  43. Even if a child is not a human (which it is), it still will BECOME a human. Abortion is "not allowing to live" and murder is "ending life". What exactly is the difference? You are STILL taking away someone else\’s right to life!

  44. KayYou really don\’t know the bible that well do you?You formed my inmost being; You knit me in my mother\’s womb. I praise you, so wonderfully you made me; Wonderful are your works! My very self you knew; My bones were not hidden from you, When I was being made in secret, Fashioned as in the depths of the earth. Your eyes foresaw my actions; In your book all are written down; My days were shaped, before one came to be. Psalms 139:13-16 [New American] "Yahweh called me when I was in the womb, before my birth he had pronounced my name." Isaiah 49:1 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you." Jeremiah 1:5 Life begins at conception kay. Here is another word for you;20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight. 22 Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine and champions at mixing drinks, 23 who acquit the guilty for a bribe, but deny justice to the innocent. 24 Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the LORD Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel. Isaiah 5:20-24Kay the more you say the more you prove you don\’t belong to God. I truly hope you find the truth before it\’s too late. Playing church doesn\’t make you a Christian and no amount of good works will ever save you.

  45. "The real fool is the one who says there is no God." – Allpraiseandworship.Just curious, is that the one who says there is no God as in "Christ" and the "holy father"? Or is that aimed at the one that believes in absolutely nothing?I ask this because what about those who believe in other things, is that saying that if they dont follow your perticular faith that they are a fool? or just those without a path of faith to follow? I dont find myself for or against christ. I keep an open mind to all religion without judging others for their beliefs. I believe in respecting fellow humans regardless of their beliefs cause i dont see ANY god stopping someone from stomping my guts out so to speak after calling them a fool for being a non believer. (gettings guts stomped out being in reference to things like religeous clensing due to conflict of beliefs in other countries… that sort of thing.)Just a thought…. Just curious where you stand when it comes to your views on other religeons/beliefs. 🙂

  46. Personally, my favourite hypocritical argument of those pro-abortion is this: "What right do *you* have to pass judgement on me?" Did they not just pass their own judgement on that child? Oh, the irony. Also: IT\’S CALLED SELF CONTROL! If you aren\’t in a position to have children, don\’t have sex. Natural Family Planning can help you out by deciding when and when you can not have sex if you don\’t wish to have children. What are we, animals? Have we no self-control? I\’m sick and tired of people saying, "Oh they\’re going to have sex anyways." They don\’t have to. They make that choice. Live with the consequences people.Oh wait, I\’m sorry. Our society is one without consequences. Unless, you know, you want to do the right thing. Believe me, no good deed goes unpunished in today\’s world.~digitrev

  47. kneeBUSTWhile I respect another persons rights to believe in something else, I must also respectivly say that they are wrong.Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12Those two verses speak volumes. I will never force another to follow in Christ\’s steps and neither will He. Every human being is given the right to choose. But choose wisely because that choice reflects on eternity.

  48. Point blank-Anyone whose had children will know deep down abortion is wrong! I don\’t care what anyone says as soon as that baby is concieved it IS a life giveby god, not meant to be thrown away. Ask yourself this-if it was you that aborted fetus would you still think it\’s ok? Truthfully??? Didn\’t think so! Sorry, but I find it disgusting people who try to rationalize throwing human life away and yes I consider it murder as well.

  49. "kneeBUSTWhile I respect another persons rights to believe in something else, I must also respectivly say that they are wrong."So someone who believes in Allah lets say.. is just flat out wrong? Is that saying that everyone who believes in something else is just wrong in all their beliefs and will eventually end up burning in hell for not being as smart as you to follow the path of christ? According to them they are looking at just as sweet of an after life or whatever it is thats waiting for them thats made them dedicate their entire life to being good little boys and girls. I think its cool to believe in something and everything, but where does it get you… you will always be wrong in the eyes of someones religeon… how do you know for sure that you selected the right one? Just because another human wrote in a book about how this is the real one! What if i wrote in my blog that IM the truth… would you buy it?thats sort of how i feel about the good book… or any book of religeon. After all is said and done arent they just stories written by other people?forgive me for my ignorance when it comes to this… i just want to hear your opinion.

  50. hey againstrong words brotheri would like 2 agree with you, but mine heart speaks otherwise. who are we to judge the actions of another ?think on this

  51. I would just like to say that, firstly, yes abortion is wrong. It is murder. But it is still a choice. Abortion is no different than if I took a gun out and shot someone. That would be my choice. The difference is that our soceity has said one is wrong. It is also no different than the sins you, Gerry, choose to commit everyday. Those are your choice. And they are no worse and no better than abortion.I used to be just like you, but God has opened my eyes. He has been teaching me a lot about sin for quite awhile, but just recently in the specific area of abortion. I knew that after I got married, if got pregnant right away I would have an abortion. It was the only option. We don\’t want to have kids, because we won\’t be able to do our ministry as effectively. I suffer from depression, and sometimes can\’t take care of myself let alone a baby. And we both come from very evangelical families and adoption for married Christians is unheard of. We did everything we could to not get pregnant, even prayed. I told God that I would have an abortion if I got pregnant. And I did (get pregnant). I wasn\’t going to tell my husband, but I did. And we decided that an abortion would be best for us. So we did it. And you know what it wasn\’t even half as bad as I was always told it would be by all the Christain literature out there. (Which I now know is all bent towards their beliefs, it isn\’t all truth.) We know what we did was wrong (we are all going to sin this side of heaven, and God doesn\’t say that any sin is worse than another). We made the choice, God doesn\’t love us any less for that decision. My husband thinks it might have been a test and that we would have had a miscarriage anyway. But neither of us would go back and change our decision. And we are now doing the ministry that we wanted to and doing it much better than we could have with a child. And God is blessing us and our ministry. The problem here is that Christians need to wake up and actually read the Bible and look at Jesus life. Nowhere in the Bible or in Jesus life do we see any indication that one sin is worse than another. We are all still sinners, even Christians (that means you, Gerry). So we (as Christians) need to get off our high horses and stop accusing others (Gerry, I think you call this being soft, but this is exactly what Jesus told the Pharisees to not do(accuse others)). And just love them, the way Christ did. It was His love that made people want to change. It was the way He lived His life. He wasn\’t condeming or judging. You say that you don\’t judge on your site, but I\’ve read several times where, you, Gerry and Jason flat out told people that they couldn\’t be saved if they said the things they were saying. I\’m sorry, I must have missed that part in my Bible where it said that you two were God. Only God knows who will or will not spend eternity with Him. You have no right to tell someone that, you don\’t know what is in their heart (Again, Gerry, I think you would call this being soft and again this is what Jesus told the Pharisees to stop doing(saying who was and who wasn\’t good enough for heaven)). Gerry I\’m also confused on where the Bible says that you are the one to point out sin in other people\’s lives. I again thought that was God\’s job. He is after all the only one who knows our hearts. He is the only one who can stir up our hearts, so that we can even see our sin (See my above notes about being soft on this one). That is unless you\’re a new kind of prophet we haven\’t heard about yet. Look at what Jesus did with Matthew. Jesus told Matthew to follow Him and he did, no questions asked. Do you think Matthew would have done that if Jesus just went up to him and started pointing out all of his sins? Of course not. He followed because he saw something different in Jesus. Here was the only person in the whole world who actually has a right to point out others\’ sin, but He didn\’t. Did you hear that, He didn\’t! And when the Pharisees came along and saw that Jesus wasn\’t condeming these sinners, they got mad. And what did Jesus tell them, "I desire MERCY, not sacrifice" (Matthew 9:13). It looks to me like this site has a lot of sacrifice going on and no mercy. If Jesus codemned one group more than another, it was the Pharisees and Sadducees for being self-righteous. I\’ve seen a lot of self-righteous talk going on on this site. Jesus also told the Pharisees and Sadducees that the greatest commandments were, "Love the Lord you God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself" (Matthew 22:37 & 39). And that is exactly how Christ lived His life. He didn\’t condemn, He didn\’t have to. His love does that on it\’s own. That\’s what it all boils down to; love. Love God and love people. You can\’t have one without the other. You can\’t love God without loving people and you can\’t truely love people without loving God. I don\’t see a lot of love going on here. I just see a lot of "You\’re wrong, I\’m right, repent" and no love to go with it. They might be wrong and they might need to repent (that isn\’t your call), but you still gotta love them. And you can\’t change their mind or their heart, only God can. But why would they want that if they aren\’t shown God\’s love through His people, the way it is supposed to be. God is love, not God is condemning. He is our judge, but ultimately He is love. Which is why He sent His Son. He didn\’t have to, He could let us all rot in hell; but then again He can\’t because He is love and so made a way out. But if we (as Christians) just start preaching Christ and His love and showing that love, letting it eminate through our whole being. We don\’t need to go around pointing out others sin, that\’s what the Holy Spirit does. It isn\’t our job. Remember what Jesus said to all the men who wanted to stone the adulterous woman; "If any of you have never sinned, then go ahead and throw the first stone at her!" (John 8:7). That right there says that only Christ can condemn people for there sins. The only people in the Bible who preached against sin like you are is in the Old Testament and that\’s because Christ\’s coming changed everything. He redefined the law; now it\’s all about personal relationship. Yes, the Bible does tell us that if we sin against someone we go to them and if they sin against us we go to them, but that\’s talking about believers. And that all goes back to restoring love and relationship.I know that all your going to say is that we (as Christians) have learned to be soft (that seems to be your response to everything). But I have news for you, this is how Jesus lived and He is our greatest example (And guess what, He was considered soft too, by the Pharisees and Sadducees). So if you want to be grouped with them, keep up what you are doing; you\’re great at it. You quote from the Bible a lot, but it doesn\’t seem like you read it for yourself or try to apply it to your life (not in the responses I\’ve read). So please don\’t publish that you are a Christian if you aren\’t going to follow Christ\’s example; it makes it harder for those of us who are trying. The Church, Christians need to get back to basics (stop trying to be the Pharisees and Sadducees by adding to God\’s Word or twisting it to fit our purposes, instead of God\’s): LOVE GOD AND LOVE OTHERS, the rest will follow.

  52. Heyy… just thought I\’d drop in for awhile. And is it me or is the typing really laggy???Yeh I agree that we shouldn\’t judge people on what they do, but God will judge everyone. We\’re here not to judge you on what you do, but to warn you that God WILL judge you one day and you WILL be accountable for your sin.And as for this issue with arrogance= (that\’s what it seems to be) remember that all truth is exclusive. if the \’truth\’ is that 1+1=2, then yes I would say those that say 1+1 =3 are flat out wrong. And if you look at Islam and Allah, I think Islam in particular goes against Christianity and it is clear if you look into them that you can\’t just accept both with a clear mind.Christianity:Israel is God\’s chosen people.Salvation through grace (unique to Christianity alone)Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose again.Reward focused on God and relationship – eternal relationship with God.Islam:Peace = the killing of JewsSalvation through works – killing those that oppose AllahJesus Christ did not die on the cross… tradition is that he fled off to…. ummm.. somewhere, can\’t remember offf the top of my head.Reward focused on man\’s desire – virgins who regain their virginity every night.I could go on to list more. From those alone it should be clear that you can\’t hold both religions equally valid with a clear mind. How do I know that Jesus is truly the way, the truth and the life? Simple – through the grace and love that I have felt in my own life through God. This is why it\’s so hard to argue for it logically, because the strongest argument is that of love, and I will testify to that.

  53. kneeBUSTWhat makes Christianity different from all the other relgions is that it is not a religion, but a relationship with someone who is not dead but alive. Jesus said that He is the Good Shepherd and that He takes care of His sheep. His sheep know Him and they recognize His voice. John chapter 10:1-30. Those who are his know Him and when He speaks we know without a doubt who it is that is speaking to us.Next, the bible above every other piece of literature is unique. More manuscripts exist for it than almost all other ancient writings put together. The text has remained 99.5 percent pure from the original writings. It is also God breathed and men wrote it down as they were guided by the Holy Spirit. (2 Timothy 3:16-17 2 Peter 1:20-21) To those who have come to know Jesus as Saviour, the word is alive. But to those who don\’t know Him it is foolishness. Many sceptics down through the ages sought to discredit Jesus and the bible but in their seeking for the truth they came away with the profound knowledge that Jesus really was who He said He was and that the word was true.A good book I suggest you read is called The Case For Christ by Lee Strobel http://www.christianbook.com/Christian/Books/product?item_no=20930&netp_id=115837&event=ESRCN&item_code=WWHope this helps you.

  54. OneElmaShell & tyHere are a few verses I want you to ponder:Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.” John 7:24 (NKJV)15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. 16 For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:15-16 (NKJV)The same verse in the amplified;15But the spiritual man tries all things [he examines, investigates, inquires into, questions, and discerns all things], yet is himself to be put on trial and judged by no one [he can read the meaning of everything, but no one can properly discern or appraise or get an insight into him]. 16For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart. As a pastor I am given a command by the word of God to;Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 2 Timothy 4:2 and All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17To rebuke means that scold and correct in a sharp way. To urge someone to stop sinning: a) believer Perhaps a Christian is in sin. I am to warn them. b) unbeliever Perhaps an unbeliever is not aware of his sin; therefore, I am to offer correction, warning, or admonition. But I am also to judge myself first and then bring the word. The church is in at errible state today because many believer\’s and pastors have stopped speaking out. Judgement is coming to the house of God are you ready? "For there is some danger of falling into a soft and effeminate Christianity, under the plea of a lofty and ethereal theology. Christianity was born for endurance; not an exotic, but a hardy plant, braced by the keen wind; not languid, nor childish, nor cowardly. It walks with strong step and erect frame; it is kindly, but firm; it is gentle, but honest; it is calm, but not facile; obliging, butnot imbecile; decided, but not churlish. It does not fear to speak the stern word of condemnation against error, nor to raise its voice against surrounding evils, under the pretext it is not of this world; it does not shrink from giving honest reproof, lest it come under the charge of displaying an unchristian spirit. It calls sin sin, on whomsoever it is found, and would rather risk the accusation of being actuated by a bad spirit than not discharge an explicit duty. Let us not. misjudge strong words used in honest controversy. Out of the heat, a viper may come forth but we shake it off and feel no harm. The religion of both Old and New Testaments is markd by fervent outspoken testimonies against evil. To speak smooth things in such a case may be sentimentalism, but it is not Christianity. It is a betrayal of the cause of truth and righteousness. If anyone should be frank, manly, honest, cheerful (I do not say blunt or rude, for a Christian must be courteous and polite); it is he who has tasted that the Lord is gracious, and is looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God I know that charity covereth a multitude of sins; but it does not call evil good, because a good man has done it; it does not excuse inconsistencies, because the inconsistent brotherhas a high name and a fervent spirit; crookedness and worldliness are still crookedness and worldliness, though exhibited in one who seems to have reached no common height of attainment." – HORATIUS BONAR (1808-89)

  55. OneElmaShellThe way I see it is that you have justified your sin. I hope that you don\’t use that in any testimoney you give as you are telling people, oh yes abortion is a sin, but God will forgive you if you really have to have one. If you got pregnant it was because God wanted you to. Not a single human life is an accident It was wrong what you did. Don\’t try and justify it! Yes abortion is a sin but to try and justify it is just as bad and there are always consequences to our sins. God may forgive us but the consequences remain with us.

  56. I don\’t see how you can call a mother who wants a child aborted a murdererin comparison to all the people killed in your Lord\’s good name. History has shown that God is the leading cause of Death in long ago centuries. Stop weakening God with religions propaganda!

  57. Little_kickMany things have been done in the name of Christianity that was not done by true believers in Christ. Those people were misguided and had no true relationship with Him. The fact is that I cannot force my veiws on anybody. I can warn them that it is a sin and that there are consequences to pay, but ultimately the choice is theirs and they will have to live with it if they choose to follow the wrong path.

  58. how do you get that

  59. "OneElmaShell"First you said:"I would just like to say that, firstly, yes abortion is wrong. It is murder."Then you said:"I told God that I would have an abortion if I got pregnant. And I did (get pregnant). I wasn\’t going to tell my husband, but I did. And we decided that an abortion would be best for us. So we did it. "So according to your own words you murdered your child. So did your Pastor come along for the ride? Why not? Then you said:"My husband thinks it might have been a test and that we would have had a miscarriage anyway. But neither of us would go back and change our decision. And we are now doing the ministry that we wanted to and doing it much better than we could have with a child. And God is blessing us and our ministry"So after you murdered your child, you started a ministry. What ministry do you belong to? The truth is, God never told you to have an abortion. You told God you were going to have an abortion. BIG DIFFERENCE. Just because you tell God something, doesn\’t mean that it\’s God. You\’re blaming that on the fact that God gave your free choice? That\’s no different than Adam when He said "The woman that you gave me". And we all know that Adam was cursed and judged. Did you ever think perhaps God wanted to have the child? God only gives good and perfect things. This whole story makes me want to vomit. I wonder how it makes God feel.Seriously, this is sickeningly flaky reasoning. You need to repent for your crimes against His child, against Him — both of you.I never knew that christians like what I\’ve encountered here even existed. Praise God for the sanity-check of His Word, His Holy Spirit and His Presence. Jason

  60. personally, I have always thought that abortion was wrong and that was BEFORE I had the Bible to back me up. lol. Abortion is killing a little human being. I am currently expecting a little baby boy in a month or two here and I would never dream of having an abortion. The circumstances that I have conceived were not ideal, I am not married, but that doesn\’t mean that I am going to murder my baby. Things will be hard, but to try and cover one sin with another? Its not right. I dont know what to say except that I think that abortion is WRONG! anyway, I just wanted to say hi to Gerry! so, hi! and God bless hun, talk to you soon…

  61. Carrissa,Better life be tough and you know God is there than things be going good and you feeling alone (but then I am sure you already knew that).

  62. Sorry about that rant last night. I was pretty emotional myself and I was upset at the use of the Bible there. Can you forgive me?Perhaps you can explain better how you can use the Bible to support the anti-abortionist possition. Even if you have to by email. This is not an invitation for debate, I just want to know the best Christian possition. I know you don\’t want a debate and I guarantee I will not post my possition on your website anymore about it.I feel there are a lot of hurting people over this subject and I guess I need some light shed on it from the Christian perspective. Maybe your possition is not as wrong as I thought.Friends?

  63. MrMaloneYou have to understand that to try and intellectualize the word of God just doesn’t work. Without the Holy Spirit in a person’s life the bible is just another book. I know I have been there and I used to like the nice stories and thought that it had some good things to say, but there were things that didn’t make sense until I had an encounter with God. Then it was like a light turned on, my eyes opened and the word became alive. I saw things that I never saw before and it all made perfect sense. Believer’s don’t just believe that abortion is wrong just because of certain verses, but it is also because of a conviction that the Holy Spirit brings as well. At the surface it may seem that the bible is contradictory but it is not at all. The whole bible was inspired by God. Ecclesiastes, Job and many of the Psalms were written so that we could see what it is like to be without God. Solomon had fallen far from God when he wrote Ecclesiastes, the wisdom we find in Proverbs was but a shadow and what we see is a man struggling to find his faith. Like David there are many times when because of sin, God seemingly hides himself from us and we cry out my god why have you forsaken me. God never hides Himself from us but sin separate us from Him. Even all the laws given in the old testament were not given to put chains on us, but to show us how impossible it is to keep such things. If it was not for the law, we would not understand grace. Every single scripture has been given to us for a reason and for a non-believer to try and figure out where we are coming from only leads to frustration. I also am a very big believer in choice. I can’t and will not force my beliefs on another. That is not Christ’s way. God gave us free will. But what we are told to do is warn the world that there is consequences to their choices and what is sin. I also don’t believe in legislating righteousness. It doesn’t work. Again your talking about forcing people to do things they don’t want to do. Every time someone has tried to do that they have failed.I have 2 wonderful children that are amazing. I have raised them on my own for the last 11 years. I can\’t imagine their lives being snufed out before they even had a chance to live the life God had given them.I don\’t hold anything against anyone, so don\’t worry about last night. Hope I have answered some of your questions.Take care
